Hands and Feet

‘I don’t feel properly dressed unless my nails are in good shape’. This is something I hear regularly from clients and I couldn’t agree more. There’s just something about having beautifully polished nails – on hands and feet alike – that adds that touch of completion to whatever occasion you’re dressed for.

I provide a range of manicure and pedicure treatments, and use products from The GelBottle for results which can last up to three weeks.

FAQs

HOW LONG WILL THE TREATMENT TAKE?

Gel polish application will take around between 45 mins and one hour. Great care is taken to prepare your cuticles and nails for the treatment to ensure great results which last. If your appointment includes removal of previous gel also, the appointment will take around 1hr15 mins. For pedicure appointments, please enquire about times for your chosen package.

HOW LONG WILL THE TREATMENT LAST?

Gel polish manicures can last up to three weeks, ideally, you would make appointments every two weeks to ensure best results. Gel pedicures will last longer as due to toenails having a slower growth rate.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PEDICURES?

It goes without saying that pedicures – with or without polish – improve the overall appearance and condition of your feet. Techniques used to remove hard, dry skin and soften the foot, along with massages to help circulation and blood flow, will leave your feet feeling revived. The paraffin wax treatment has many additional benefits.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PARAFFIN WAX TREATMENTS IN PEDICURES?

Paraffin has cosmetic and therapeutic benefits and is a natural emollient, helping make skin supple and soft. When applied to the skin, it adds moisture and continues to boost the moisture levels of the skin after the treatment is complete. It can also help open pores and remove dead skin cells, which may help the skin look fresher and feel smoother. Paraffin has also been seen to help conditions such as Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and other joint mobility conditions. Acting like a form of heat therapy it can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness. The wax can also minimise muscle spasms and inflammation as well as treat sprains.
